Structural Steel Fabricator/Welder needed

Onspot Welding is seeking a skilled Structural Steel Welder/Fabricator/Installer with an active 4G FCAW certification in NR-232 to join our team. We specialize in high end residential remodels and ground up builds. This position involves both shop fabrication and field installation, requiring strong experience in structural steel work.

Responsibilities:

• Perform structural welding in accordance with applicable codes and specifications
• Fabricate steel components from shop drawings and blue prints
• Fit, cut, and assemble structural steel components in the shop
• Install and erect structural steel in the field
• Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

• Current 4G FCAW NR-232 welding certification (required)
• Proven experience in structural steel welding and fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and blue prints
• Strong knowledge of welding symbols and procedures
• Forklift experience (required)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work in both shop and field environments
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (required)
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS certifications (D1.1 or similar)
• Experience with structural steel installation/erection
