Sub-Contract Journey-Level Framing Carpenter

HIRING: Sub-Contract Journey-Level Framing Carpenter (Trusses, California Roofs, Stairs)
We are seeking a highly skilled Journey-Level Sub-Contractor (1099) to assist with residential framing projects. We need a reliable professional who can work independently, calculate cut-lists, and execute structural framing without hand-holding.
Primary Technical Requirements:

• Structural framing & California roof framing techniques
• Roof truss layout, setting, and temporary/permanent bracing
• Balcony framing and custom stair stringer layout and construction

Qualifications & Standards:

• Experience: Minimum 4+ years of proven journey-level framing background
• Status: 1099 Sub-Contractor (must handle own taxes/insurance)
• Tools & Transport: Must have a full set of framing hand tools, pneumatic tools/hoses, and reliable work transportation
• Job Site Standards: Honest, dependable, clean appearance, and strict drug-free, alcohol-free, and smoke-free policy
• License: Valid driver's license required

Compensation:

• Pay Rate: $300 – $350/day (Depending on Experience & Speed)
• Paid weekly / per project completion
