Prairie Barns Construction LLC is a design-build construction company headquartered in Dickinson, ND. We build post-frame pole barns, stud-frame shops, and steel buildings across Southwest & Central North Dakota, Eastern Montana, and the Dakotas — and we stay busy year-round.

We are actively looking for experienced framing crews and lead carpenters to partner with us on a subcontract basis.

WHAT WE BUILD:

• Post-frame pole barns (residential, agricultural, commercial)
• Stud-frame shops and garages
• Pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB)
• Light commercial structures

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

✔ Crews of 4-15 with a strong lead carpenter and owner-operator
✔ Experience in post-frame or stick-frame construction (at least one of the two — both is a plus)
✔ Your own hand tools; we coordinate access to equipment on-site
✔ Reliable, professional, and able to follow a build schedule
✔ Willingness to travel within our service area (ND / MT / SD)

We don't micromanage good crews. If you know how to build and you show up ready to work, we'll keep you busy.
