ABOUT US

Jaycon General Contractor is a licensed California general contractor
building commercial and residential projects across Northern California.
We run lean, we run clean, and we finish what we start. We are looking
for a Superintendent who takes ownership of a jobsite and delivers.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT YOU'LL DO

- Run the day-to-day operations of active jobsites from mobilization
through final punch and closeout.
- Build and hold the schedule. Sequence the work, stay ahead of
material and manpower needs, and deliver projects on time.
- Direct field crews and coordinate subcontractors — hold them to
scope, schedule, and workmanship.
- Solve problems on the fly. Field conflicts, missing details, and late
deliveries are part of the job; we need someone who makes the call and
keeps the work moving.
- Perform quality control checks at every phase. Catch defective or
out-of-spec work before the inspector does, and make sure it gets
corrected.
- Own site safety. Enforce OSHA/Cal-OSHA compliance, run toolbox talks,
maintain the IIPP and heat illness prevention requirements, and keep a
clean, orderly, hazard-free site.

  • Coordinate inspections with the AHJ and keep the project inspection-ready.
  • Maintain daily reports, manpower logs, photo documentation, and
as-built markups.
- Communicate clearly and consistently with the office, the owner, and
the design team.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

- Proven field experience running commercial and/or residential
construction projects as a Superintendent or lead Foreman.
- Hands-on trade background — you know how the work actually gets built,
not just how it looks on paper.

  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and shop drawings.
  • Track record of completing projects on time and on budget.
  • Strong leadership. You can direct a crew and hold subcontractors
accountable without burning the relationship.
- Working knowledge of OSHA/Cal-OSHA requirements. OSHA 30 preferred
(OSHA 10 minimum); First Aid/CPR a plus.
  • Sound judgment under pressure and the discipline to document decisions.
  • Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and
willingness to travel to jobsites throughout Northern California.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus.
  • Comfortable with basic jobsite technology — email, smartphone,
scheduling and daily-report apps.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

WHAT WE OFFER

  • Competitive pay based on experience.
  • Steady, year-round project pipeline.
  • Direct access to ownership — no layers of bureaucracy between you and
a decision.
- The autonomy to run your job your way, with the backing to do it right.
