SUPERINTENDENT (ROAD CONSTRUCTION)

Superintendent leads heavy civil road construction projects from planning through completion, ensuring safe, efficient operations and compliance with plans and specs.

Local projects (overnights are extremely rare), competetive pay and benefits packge, company truck and phone, paid time off, performance bonus potential.

Responsibilities:

• Lead crews and subcontractors on concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and/or underground utility projects
• Plan, schedule, perform and manage daily work, labor, equipment, and materials
• Enforce company safety program and conduct safety meetings
• Read plans and oversee quality control and inspections
• Track production, budgets, and manhours
• Coordinate with Construction Manager, vendors, inspectors, and owners
• Hire, train and evaluate crew members

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 10+ years heavy civil road construction experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Bilingual a plus
