Description

Well respected commercial stucco company seeking a skilled and motivated Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a Superintendent, you will play a crucial role managing projects. If you have a keen eye for detail, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality work, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:
•Supervise and manage daily stucco operations on residential and/or commercial construction projects.
•Coordinate and oversee stucco crews, subcontractors, and laborers.
•Plan and schedule manpower and work activities to meet project schedules and deadlines.
•Read and interpret construction plans, specifications, elevations, and details.
•Coordinate stucco work with the General Contractor, project managers, other trades, and inspectors.
•Conduct daily jobsite inspections to ensure work is being completed according to plans, specifications, and company standards.
•Ensure proper installation of lath, paper/weather barrier, flashing, weep screeds, control joints, stucco coats, textures, and finishes.
•Monitor quality of workmanship and identify/correct deficiencies before inspections or final completion.
•Ensure proper preparation of surfaces before stucco application.
•Verify materials, quantities, deliveries, and equipment needed for each project. •Coordinate material deliveries and maintain adequate supplies on the jobsite.
•Track production and crew performance to maintain labor efficiency and project profitability.
•Conduct or participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
•Ensure crews maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
•Address weather-related issues and adjust work schedules, when necessary, particularly during extreme heat.
•Identify potential construction problems before they become costly delays or rework.

Requirements:
•Proven work experience for minimum 3 years as a Superintendent in the stucco trade
•Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and specifications.
•Ability to prepare all construction documentation such as Change Orders, RFI’s, Progress reports, Submittal and Close Out Documents.
•Ability to manage all aspects of each project: material, labor, documentation, budget and scheduling.
•Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify potential risks and challenges.
•Effective communication skills to interact with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
•Ability to work independently and efficiently under tight deadlines.
•OSHA Safety or other certifications are a bonus but not required.
