Suspension Tech / Shop Technician

Description

Suspension Tech / Shop Technician

Pay: $25–$40+/hr (based on experience)

Location: Denver, CO

Type: Part-Time | 1099 Contractor

We’re Savage Campervan & RV — a build shop focused on doing things right. We specialize in Vans and RVs, with a heavy focus on suspension, drivability, and real off-road capability.

We install lift kits, shocks, struts, control arms, leaf springs, and full suspension systems on platforms like Transit, Sprinter, Econoline, and Chevy vans & RVs. If you care about how a vehicle actually rides, handles, and performs — you’ll fit in here.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Install lift kits, shocks/struts, springs, and full suspension setups
Work on core suspension components (control arms, ball joints, etc.)
Support full van builds when needed (electrical, interior, misc.)
Keep your workspace dialed — tools, parts, and workflow stay clean and organized

What We’re Actually Looking For:

Real, hands-on suspension experience — this is the priority

You can turn wrenches without someone standing over your shoulder
You understand torque specs, proper installs, and why they matter
You show up on time, work hard, and take pride in clean, correct work
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Big bonus points and pay increase if you can do quality welding

Why Savage...

You’ll do real suspension work — not basic maintenance
$25–$40+/hr based on what you can actually do, not what you say you can do
Flexible schedule
Opportunity to grow into full builds and higher-end installs
Small crew, no corporate layers — just solid work and accountability
