Job Title: Pool Cleaning Technician

Location: San Dimas
Work week - Monday thru Friday
Reports To: Operations Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Pool Cleaning Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining residential swimming pools to ensure they remain clean, safe, and fully operational. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, customer-focused, and comfortable working independently in an outdoor environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine pool cleaning services, including skimming, vacuuming, brushing walls, and emptying baskets.
• Test and balance pool water chemistry; add necessary chemicals to maintain proper levels.
• Inspect pool equipment (pumps, filters, heaters, automation systems) and report any issues or needed repairs.
• Backwash and clean filters as required.
• Maintain accurate service records, including chemical readings and work performed.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with customers regarding service schedules, pool conditions, and recommendations.
• Safely handle chemicals and equipment according to company policies and industry standards.
• Uphold company reputation by delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in pool cleaning, maintenance, or related field preferred (training available for the right candidate).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service abilities.
• Must have a Truck to work out of
• Basic understanding of water chemistry is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Outdoor, physical work environment.
• Daily travel to customer locations
• Regular exposure to pool chemicals with provided safety equipment.
