EXPERIENCED TAILOR / ALTERATIONS SPECIALIST

A high-end dry-cleaning and garment-care business in Palm Beach Gardens is looking for an experienced Tailor / Alterations Specialist to join our team.

We specialize in quality garment care and are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship and understands the importance of working with high-value clothing.

Responsibilities:

• Perform professional alterations and repairs on men’s and women’s clothing
• Alter suits, jackets, pants, dresses, shirts and other garments
• Work with designer and high-end clothing
• Perform hems, waist adjustments, sleeve alterations, zipper repairs and other garment modifications
• Handle delicate and specialty fabrics with care
• Inspect garments and determine the appropriate alteration or repair
• Maintain a high standard of quality and attention to detail
• Communicate professionally with customers when needed

Qualifications:

• Proven professional tailoring/alterations experience
• Strong sewing and garment-construction skills
• Experience working with suits, jackets and higher-end garments preferred
• Ability to work independently and meet quality standards
• Excellent attention to detail
• Professional appearance and attitude

Compensation: $25–$30/hour depending on experience and skill level.

Schedule: Full-time or part-time available.
