Evergreen Refrigeration & HVAC is seeking a Technical Service Manager to lead our growing Technical Services Department.
This is not a dispatcher position. This is not a service technician position.
This is a leadership role responsible for coordinating the technical side of commercial HVAC and refrigeration projects, including startup and commissioning, controls coordination, warranty support, balancing coordination, technician scheduling, workforce development, and technical standards.
You'll work closely with project managers, foremen, engineers, technicians, vendors, and controls contractors to ensure projects are completed correctly, efficiently, and profitably.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage the Technical Services Department
- Coordinate startup, commissioning, and controls activities
- Schedule and dispatch technical personnel
- Support warranty and troubleshooting operations
- Participate in project turnover and planning meetings
- Coordinate third-party controls and balancing contractors
- Develop technical standards and best practices
- Recruit, train, and develop technicians
- Improve department performance, quality, and profitability
- Commercial HVAC, refrigeration, controls, or commissioning experience
- Experience leading technicians or technical teams
- Ability to read plans, wiring diagrams, and controls schematics
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Experience scheduling people and coordinating multiple projects
- Desire to build systems, improve processes, and develop people

Pay range of $120k - $145k+ For an exceptional candidate with extensive commercial HVAC, controls, commissioning, and leadership experience, additional compensation may be considered.
