We’re Hiring: Telecommunications Groundman

We are looking for a dependable and hardworking Telecommunications Groundman to join our team. The Groundman will support telecommunications crews with the installation, maintenance, and repair of overhead and underground communication infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is motivated to move up in the company and to train for a lineman position.

Responsibilities

Assist linemen and telecommunications technicians with daily field operations.

Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, materials, and supplies.

Assist with the installation and maintenance of fiber optic, cable, and telecommunications lines.

Prepare work areas and maintain a clean and safe job site.

Operate hand tools and basic equipment as directed.

Assist with pole, conduit, trenching, and underground utility work.

Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA requirements.

Work outdoors in various weather conditions.

Perform other duties as assigned by the crew leader or supervisor.

Qualifications

Previous telecommunications, utility, construction, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.

Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and carrying materials.

Comfortable working at heights and around utility equipment.

Valid driver’s license required.

Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions.

Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Job Type: Full-Time

Location: Granite Falls lay down yard - but travel
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00
Schedule: Monday - Thursday 10 Hour Shift with OT opportunity Friday and Saturday
Might have storm work with is automatic OT
