Position Overview
Diversified Northwest Inc. is seeking a skilled and safety oriented Telecommunications Lineman to join our team in Granite Falls, Washington. This position involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of aerial and underground telecommunications infrastructure. The ideal candidate is dependable, physically capable, and comfortable working at heights and in outdoor environments year round.
Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications systems, including fiber optic and copper lines
• Perform pole climbing, ladder work, and bucket truck operations
• Read and interpret work orders, maps, and construction prints
• Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment
• Troubleshoot network issues and restore service outages
• Follow OSHA, state, and company safety regulations at all times
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and customers
• Work outdoors in varying weather and terrain conditions

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a telecommunications lineman, cable installer, or related role - versed in both aerial and underground installation
• Ability to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks
• Knowledge of telecommunications safety procedures and best practices
• Valid driver’s license (CDL preferred or willingness to obtain – Diversified will put applicant through school)
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Preferred Qualifications
ADSS Fiber Installation
Coax underground and aerial installation

• CDL Class A or B
• Telecommunications or safety related certifications
