Testing and Production Engineer for Defense Systems

We are a small firm that is looking to add to our testing, assembly and production team. A fair bit of your time will likely be testing various weapon systems, this would involve shooting machine guns and driving off road. There may be some amount of assembly / shipping / inventory operating CNC machines, etc.

You will be working in the world of firearms and will regularly be around and working with military weapons systems. If the ideal of shooting guns and eating BBQ doesn't sound appealing, this likely isn't the job for you.

Requirements:

You MUST be a US citizen or permanent legal resident (Due to ITAR)
No criminal record
Legally able to possess a firearm
In person work only (Carson City, NV)
5-10% time traveling

Qualifications:

Eager to work hard
Willing to work long days / weeks
Willing to work in cool or warm environments (NV weather)
Able to move heavy equipment regularly (large machineguns, ammunition, etc.)
Hiking long distances through difficult terrain
Not a psychopath
Ability to have great attention to detail
Job Breakdown:
25-40% Conducting testing with different weapons under different circumstances in different environments
25-40% Managing inventory, shipping product, assembling product
10-20% Various Random Duties

Helpful:

Prior military service
Prior law enforcement experience
Weapons Armorer
Experience with M4, M249, M240B and M2 firearms
Any experience with assembly work
Any experience with electronics assembly
Welding / Mechanical Experience
Experience Operating / Programing CNC machines
