Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Tile and Grout Technician to join our cleaning and maintenance team. In this role, you will specialize in restoring the appearance and cleanliness of tiled surfaces, grout lines, and surrounding flooring areas. Your expertise will help clients maintain pristine, hygienic environments in both residential and commercial settings. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your skills in floor care, cleaning, and custodial services while delivering exceptional results that enhance the beauty and longevity of tiled surfaces. Techs must be polite, friendly and outgoing with homeowners at all times. Techs must present themselves in a neat, clean and professional manner while representing Grout Masters in clients' homes.

Responsibilities

Perform deep cleaning and restoration of tile floors, walls, and grout lines using specialized cleaning equipment and solutions
Apply sealing, polishing, buffing, and other floor care techniques to improve surface appearance and durability
Remove stains, mold, mildew, soap scum, and other buildup from tiled surfaces with effective cleaning methods
Maintain a safe work environment by following proper safety procedures during all cleaning operations
Inspect surfaces regularly to identify areas requiring special attention or repair
Document all work performed, including before-and-after photos when applicable, to ensure quality standards are met
Skills

Strong knowledge of tile and grout cleaning techniques and products preferred
Ability to operate professional cleaning equipment such as steam cleaners, buffers, extractors, and grout scrubbers
Excellent attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness and quality workmanship
Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and maneuvering equipment throughout shifts
Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
Familiarity with environmental services standards and best practices for sustainable cleaning

Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour
