Torch / Plasma Cutter / Equipment Operator for Scrap Metal Recycling

**NEED TO HIRE ASAP**

Job Duties:

• Operate torch to process scrap metal (experience required)
• Operate plasma cutter to process scrap metal (experience required)
• Assist production yard in daily business activities including scrap collection, processing, and shipping.
• Sort ferrous and non-ferrous metals (will train).
• Weigh material and record weights in an accurate manner.
• Able to lift 50+ pounds on a consistent basis.
• Comply with all safety, environmental, and proper housekeeping procedures.
• Must be able to work full-time, Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. (occasional weekends).

Skills:

• Forklift experience a definite plus!
• Experience operating hand tools a plus.
• Comfortable working with the public, small dealers, and industrial customers.
• Proven track record of reliability and dependability.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Must take directions well.
• Willingness to get job done in an orderly and efficient manner.

Education Requirement:
* High school diploma/GED
