Tour Guide

Spring and Summer nature tour guide

Part time/Flexible
~1-2 days per week

Qualities in Tour Guide:

-Genuine enthusiasm to explore and be in nature

-Enjoy speaking with new people/travelers

-Comfortable driving long distances

-Keeping calm with stress of traffic/crowds

What this position involves:

-7AM Pickup of guests in downtown Seattle in a van

-Drive out to stops on the Olympic Peninsula (or N. Cascades)

-Talk with guests and get to know them and about their trip

-Guide guests on hikes, point out things of interest, take photos

-Knowledge and passion for nature, trees, and Seattle area, very useful

-Good with taking photos, very useful

Other Info:

-Pay is $30/hour + tips

-Part-time contract, no benefits

-Some flexibility in scheduling, work days can be weekdays or weekends

-Season runs May-Oct
