Desert Dog Offroad is seeking an experienced, energetic, and dependable Tour Guide / Off-Road Adventure Guide to lead unforgettable UTV adventures through the Sonoran Desert. This position is perfect for someone who loves the outdoors, knows how to ride ATV's and UTV's comfortably, enjoys meeting new people, and has the skills to safely operate and maintain off-road equipment.

We are looking for a team member who is not only a great guide but also confident handling vehicles, trailers, and basic mechanical troubleshooting.

Desert Dog Offroad is one of Scottsdale’s longest-running off-road adventure companies, offering guided UTV tours for families, corporate groups, bachelor and bachelorette parties, and visitors from around the world. Our mission is to provide safe, exciting, and memorable Arizona desert experiences.

Responsibilities

Lead guided UTV tours safely through Sonoran Desert trails.
Provide engaging and informative experiences for guests.
Conduct safety briefings and explain proper vehicle operation.
Drive support vehicles and tow trailers as needed.
Safely load, secure, and transport UTVs using trailers.
Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify potential problems before tours.
Assist with minor repairs and basic mechanical tasks.
Keep vehicles, equipment, and tour areas clean and organized.
Take guest photos and help create a memorable experience.
Communicate professionally with guests and team members.
Maintain a strong focus on guest safety at all times.

Required Qualifications

Previous ATV/UTV or off-road riding experience required.
Experience driving a truck with a trailer.
Basic mechanical skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
Comfortable working independently and solving problems in remote outdoor environments.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work outdoors in Arizona weather conditions.
CPR Certified
Can lift 50lbs
