Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools
Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling components
Install rebar, metal studs, drywall, flooring, tile, stucco, plastering, and caulking as directed by supervisors
Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment while adhering to safety protocols at all times
Follow construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for everyone on site
Skills

Mechanical knowledge relevant to construction tools and equipment operation
Familiarity with working on diverse construction projects including renovations and heavy-duty site work
Knowledge of safety protocol adherence specific to construction workplaces
Ability to operate various hand tools and power tools effectively and safely
Experience with metal stud framing, drywall installation, flooring installation, tile laying, stucco application, and plastering techniques
Physical strength for heavy lifting tasks; endurance for long hours on site
