Trailer Home needs work finished by July 15th
Contractor
Description
Hi, I am hoping to hire in support of finishing my tiny home. Glad to accept written estimates from tradespersons on doing a portion of work, or a text to schedule a short interview for anyone who wants to do hourly on a task. Welcoming many backgrounds, as I would rather hire and artist to do wood filler than a craftsman, but need a craftsman with vision to bid on finishing my front door with experience.
Attention to timelines and scheduled times appreciated. I am looking for a range of work, and glad to talk or text about money, or have you set whatever price you are willing to work. I will have to say no to a portion of folk who apply, very glad to hire the right folks through craigslist. Sober required (while with me), and noticed/not tolerated.
Here are some of the projects I had in mind to hire folk to help:
-Front door, currently just an open metal frame, but needs extra consideration as I want an outswing door, and the trailer has R-9 zip so wall is thick, glad to replace the zip below door to provide support, but door frame can only stick a little past the sheathing. I do have recycled 2x4 outswing door, if useful
-General power tool/measuring support. There are a number of tasks that I am the contractor for and need a second pair of hands and someone to pay attention to safety while doing a task. Hoping to hire hourly for a lot of hours in the next two weeks. Me gusta hablar español.
-Insulating. I have the insulation and need someone patient enough to wear a mask while cutting about 1000 pieces of rockwool to fit in each of the bays please. Glad to hire on a bid, or hourly for someone paying attention
-Bathroom... this can be more long term, and bid by professional. I need to rough out the final wall to the bathroom which includes a pocket door. The bathroom is entirely wet, minimal plumbing, plan for water/vapor (small curb/first step down into bathroom, 2 drains, vent fan, pocket door rides on the first dry step, and two windows inside the 3x8' bathroom) but no plan for what is on the walls after waterproof. Tile will work, and I would want to find some tile that is LIGHT, but I am wanting something else.
-seriously, if an artist who know how to wield a pallet knife with confidence wants to apply wood filler to my fake wood grain LP, I want to hire you
I am open to offers, please put them in writing, on text or email. I am open to having you text me and scheduling a short phone/video interview (503) fourdosseven eightyfive thirtyseven
