Trailer Mechanic/Welder/Fabricator-GERMANTOWN

We are currently hiring an experienced Trailer Mechanic/Welder to rebuild transfer trailers. This is NOT production welding - we’re looking for someone who is skilled, reliable, and ready to start right away. This role requires both welding ability and strong mechanical knowledge, including working with trailer systems like air brakes.

⚠️ This position is for 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift.

Job Responsibilities:
*Perform MIG welding on tractor trailers
*Repair trailer frames, floors, doors, and suspensions
*Fabricate and install metal components as needed
*Disassemble and reassemble trailer systems (including air brakes)
*Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:
*1+ year of welding and trailer repair experience preferred
*Strong mechanical aptitude (trailer experience a plus)
*Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
*Attention to detail and commitment to safety
*Own tools/welding gear is a plus, but not required
