D1 Trailer Sales and Rental is looking for an experienced Trailer Service Technician / Welder to join our growing team in Carson City, Nevada.

This is a full-time career opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, is dependable, and wants to be part of one of Northern Nevada's fastest-growing trailer dealerships.

We are expanding our Service, Parts, Rentals, Used Trailer, and Truck Bed departments and are looking for someone who wants to grow with us.

Welding Experience is Required

The successful applicant must be able to perform quality welding and fabrication work on trailers.

Responsibilities

Trailer inspections
Bearing service
Brake repair
Axle replacement
Suspension repair
Wiring and lighting repair
Trailer diagnostics
Welding and fabrication (required)
Hydraulic repairs
Dump trailer repairs
Truck bed installations
Hitch installations
Used trailer reconditioning
Rental fleet maintenance
General trailer repairs
Qualifications
Welding experience required
Mechanical repair experience
Ability to diagnose trailer problems
Experience with trailer brakes, bearings, suspension, wiring, and hydraulics preferred
Ability to work independently
Dependable and punctual
Valid driver's license
Professional attitude
Pride in producing quality work

Trailer repair experience is preferred; however, we are willing to train a strong welder/mechanic who is eager to learn our systems.
