Transmission Builder Wanted!

We are seeking a Transmission Builder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and rebuilding automotive or heavy equipment transmissions. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Disassemble automatic and manual transmissions and inspect components for wear, damage, or failure.
Clean, measure, and evaluate parts for reuse or replacement.
Rebuild transmissions using new and reconditioned components according to OEM or company specifications.
Test rebuilt transmissions for proper operation before delivery or installation.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, including parts used and labor time.
Diagnose transmission-related issues and recommend repairs or replacements.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and shop policies.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience building or repairing transmissions.
Strong knowledge of automotive powertrains, including automatic and manual systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
Proficiency with hand and power tools
