Traveling Low Voltage Technician

We are currently hiring low voltage technicians with an ES-3J license for a traveling job in Santa Teresa, NM. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need for skilled technicians.

Cable Technician Duties:

• Pulling and routing CAT 5 or CAT 6 cable in a new construction commercial environment
• Terminating phone jacks and dressing and terminating distribution frames (66 or 110 blocks, patch panels)
• Installing support structures (ladders, racks, j-hooks)

Qualifications:

• ES-3J License
• Must be willing to travel for 12 weeks at a time
• Fiber experience including Anaerobic Terminations, SC and LC Connectors, and Splicing
• Ability to read and understand schematic and line diagrams
• Your own basic telecom tools including punch downs, snips, wire strippers, cordless drill, PPE (safety gear), etc.

Schedule:

• 12 weeks at a time in Santa Teresa
• 40-70 hours per week

Compensation:

• $32 per hr depending on experience
• Per diem of $50 per day ($350 per week)
• Air BNB/ hotel provided
• $250 gas bonus for driving to Santa Teresa and another $250 at the end of the 12 weeks for driving home
• Weekly Pay
