Role Description:
Coast2Coast Signs is seeking TRAVEL commercial painters with EIFS/Stucco Restoration experience.
Job sites are in multiple states and this role will be a traveling position.
If you are dependable, reliable, and honest, we have full-time positions available for individuals with prior painting experience, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.
Requirements:
Must have EIFS/Stucco experience
Must pass a drug screen and physical
Must be authorized to work in the US
Clean DMV or Motor Vehicle Record
Job Duties:
Perform various tasks to ensure efficient painting operations:
- Lift and carry materials (ladders, paint, tools, etc.) to workstations.
- Tape and hang plastic to prepare workstations.
- Maintain cleanliness in work areas, eliminating possible hazards.
- Set up/clean up equipment and prepare work areas.
- Prepare walls/fixtures for painting and fill cracks/holes.
- Read work orders or receive instructions from supervisors.
- Smooth surfaces, remove old paint, and fill nail holes, cracks, and joints for painting preparation.
- Remove fixtures, such as electric switch covers, before painting.
- Protect surfaces during painting with drop cloths and masking tape.
- Apply paint-using brushes, spray guns, or paint rollers.
- Perform tasks above ground level by erecting scaffolding or setting up ladders.
- Mixing/matching paint and other materials.
- Paint surfaces according to instructions/blueprints.
- Set-up/Use/Take-down spray rigs,
- Use of aerial lifts, scaffolds, swing stage.
