Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 hr to start IF QUALIFIED with room for advancement

Now Seeking Experienced Tree Service Groundman with climbing experience
MUST HAVE RELIABLE VEHICLE. YARD IS LOCATED IN MORAGA, ALL WORK PERFORMED IN SURROUNDING AREAS.
Our company’s main client base is residential with customers that we have been serving for over 30 years.
We are looking for someone who has a:
- Minimum of 2 years proven experience as a Tree Service Groundman with some climbing experience; professional references and background WILL be checked,
- Clean professional appearance,
- The desire to provide quality tree care and customer service,
- Must be physically fit and able to lift up to 100 pounds
- Willing to work in ALL weather conditions, including any emergency work during severe weather conditions,
- Willing to work in all types of terrain,
- Has no fear of heights,
- Willing to work in poisonous vegetation including but not limited to Poison Oak, Poison Ivy, Oleander,
- A reliable, strong work ethic year-round,
- Will listen and follow directions,
- Self-motivated, and display enthusiasm to learn and grow with The Company and a,
- Friendly, can-do attitude!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform arbor and ground labor tasks as instructed by lead tree trimmer,
- Safely climb and secure yourself in trees at elevations up to 100’
- Knowledge of where and how to cut or trim a branch or limb to where it is aesthetically appealing to the clients eye and not detrimental to the tree,
- Demonstrate ability to effectively work independently while on sit for extended periods of time,
- Safe operation of shredding and chipping equipment, including the feeding of brush and limbs into machines,
- Safe operation of arbor equipment, including but not limited to: stump grinders, brush chippers, power saws, chainsaws, pole pruners, backpack blowers, and hand tools,
- Hoist tools and equipment to tree trimmer, knowing your knots is important,
- Clean, sharpen, and lubricate tools and equipment,
- Collect debris and refuse from tree trimming and removal operations into piles, using shovels, rakes, or other tools,
- Shows up ready to work each day on time; completes all tasks within time expectations; adheres to company dress code policy; wears clean clothes to work each day; follows inclement weather policy and sick leave reporting procedures.
