Truck Mechanic

HIRING TRUCK MECHANIC

Nielsen Brothers, Inc., a family owned and operated logging company in Skagit/Whatcom County, Washington State is looking to hire a truck mechanic for our pickup trucks, and occasionally our logging trucks and dump trucks. Heavy equipment experience is a plus! We are looking for someone who has at least 1 year of experience and a passion for quality work. Applicants must have working knowledge in repairing various trucks, as well as experience with diesel engines and electrical systems.

Job duties will include:
· Perform preventative and routine maintenance
· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical defects
· Operate equipment as needed
· Perform job duties in accordance to safety rules and regulations.

Other Qualifications:
· Must have valid driver’s license
· Be available to work Monday- Friday, (occasional Saturdays when needed)

Wages start at $30-35/hr (based on experience & negotiable). Full-time, year round work, with overtime after 40 hours. We offer competitive, performance based wages, and full medical, dental & life insurance benefits after 60 days. Our 401k program is offered after 6 months.

Our shop is located in Sedro Woolley.
