Trucking Coordinator

We are seeking an organized and dependable Trucking Coordinator to manage daily transportation and delivery activities for our construction and precast operations. This position will coordinate drivers, trucks, schedules, and jobsite deliveries to ensure materials arrive safely and on time.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and coordinate daily truck deliveries and pickups

Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, project managers, and jobsite personnel
Coordinate delivery times based on production and erection schedules
Track truck locations, delivery status, and schedule changes
Confirm drivers have correct load and delivery information
Maintain trucking schedules, delivery records, and required documentation
Communicate delays, breakdowns, or scheduling conflicts immediately
Coordinate with production and field teams to prevent delivery disruptions
Assist with sourcing outside trucking when additional trucks are needed
Monitor transportation needs and adjust schedules as priorities change
Help ensure drivers and trucking operations follow company and jobsite safety requirements

Qualifications:

Previous trucking, dispatch, logistics, transportation, or construction coordination experience preferred
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple trucks, projects, and changing schedules
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Basic computer skills, including email and Excel
Knowledge of construction, precast concrete, or heavy-haul transportation is a plus

The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and able to communicate effectively between drivers, production teams, and jobsites to keep deliveries running smoothly.
