Upholsterer- Furniture Reupholstery

Ellena Frances Design, a luxury home staging company, is looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join our team on a flexible, project-based basis.
We are looking for someone skilled in reupholstering and repairing furniture, including sofas, chairs, dining chairs, benches, ottomans, and other upholstered pieces. Our furniture is used for high-end residential staging, so we want someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and has a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities
    

• Reupholster furniture pieces according to project needs
• Remove and replace existing upholstery
• Repair and reinforce furniture frames when needed
• Replace or repair foam, batting, webbing, and other upholstery materials
• Complete clean, professional finishing work
• Work with a variety of furniture styles and fabrics
• Help determine the appropriate materials and techniques for each piece
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Complete projects within agreed-upon timelines

Qualifications
    

• Previous professional upholstery experience required
• Strong knowledge of upholstery techniques and materials
• Experience working with residential furniture
• Ability to work independently and manage projects efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Reliable and quality-focused
• Ability to work with different furniture styles and fabrics
• Experience with high-end or custom furniture is a plus

Flexible Work Arrangement
This position offers flexible hours and scheduling based on our staging projects.
You may work:
    

• Out of our warehouse, using your own tools and workspace as needed, or
• At your own upholstery shop/location if you have an established workspace.

We are open to working with the right person part-time, project-based, or ongoing, depending on availability and workload.
