Upholstery Seamstress

We are looking for an experienced Upholstery Seamstress to join our team.

Responsibilities:

• Pattern, cut and sew fabric into cushion covers (boxing and zipper work)
• Cut plywood seat bottoms
• Cut foam and wrap with fiber
• Pullover and staple seat covers to plywood
• Insert back and arm foam into zippered covers
• Install cushions into their corresponding frames
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace

Requirements:

• Experience in upholstery OR furniture sewing (required)
• Experience with industrial sewing machines
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull, stand, kneel, or bend for long periods of time
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Read, write and speak English
