Utility Construction Helper / Laborer

As a Utility Construction Helper, you will assist our crews on new construction utility projects, helping install and maintain underground utility infrastructure. You will work alongside experienced operators and foremen while learning valuable skills that can lead to advancement within the company.

Responsibilities

• Assist utility construction crews on job sites
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Use hand tools and construction equipment safely
• Assist with excavation and installation of underground utilities
• Load, unload, and move construction materials
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Learn to read plans, use specialized tools, and perform utility construction tasks

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work well with others in a team environment
• Ability to perform physical labor and lift construction materials
