Overview:

The Utility Technician will opere various Class A, B, and/or C vehicles (pumper truck, P&D truck, fence truck, container truck, etc.) in support of the operion's needs

Responsibilities:

• Conducts daily pre-shift & post-shift vehicle inspection & report deficiencies to shop immediely.
• Also, report improper operion, faulty equipment, and unusual conditions to the Operions. Manager.
• Operes service truck to and from pre-designed work sites based on daily routing informion.
• Services portable restrooms, holding tanks, septic tanks, sinks, showers, etc., various work sites by following the Company's servicing guidelines.
• Notifies management of any issues encountered on back-up route assigned.
• Maintains telephone or radio contact with dispch to receive additional instructions, changes to work locions, etc.
• Maintains truck log according to ste and federal regulions.
• Follow all established safety rules & regulions.
• Operes fl bed truck to and from pre-designed work sites based on daily routing informion to deliver or pick-up portable restroom units, hand sinks, holding tanks or containers.
• Updes tickets with relevant delivery or pick-up detail.
• Operes fence truck to and from pre-designed work sites based on daily routing informion to deliver or pick-up fence (chain link, panel, merials, etc.)
• Will also act as a lead on fence jobs where a crew is assigned to the job/truck and will opere fence installion equipment.
• Operes tanker/transfer truck to and from local dump and completes required paperwork as necessary.
• Special projects as assigned by management.

Qualificions:

• Minimum two years of commercial driving experience.
• Valid Driver License (CDL or non-commercial).
• Excellent time management, customer service and communicion skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Sit while driving and stand while servicing products
• Use hands and fingers to handle, control or feel objects tools or controls
• Repe the same movements
• See details of objects th are less than a few feet away and also greer distance
• Speak clearly so customers can understand
• Understand the speech of another person
• Hear sounds and recognize the difference between them
• Walk up to 30 minutes a time without exertion
• Enter and exit equipment by stepping and kneeling
• Lift up to 40lbs from your waist to your shoulders
• Lift 30lbs from the floor to your head
• Crouch and squ
• Push 100lbs and pull 100lbs horizontally

Salary Range: $21.66 – $30.33 / hour Pay Transparency Stement: At United Site Services, our salary ranges reflect the minimum and maximum base pay for the posted position applicable to all locions across the US. Within the posted salary range, individual pay is determined by the geographic locion, job reled skills, experience, educion, and certificions.
