We are a busy, well-established automotive repair shop in Alexandria, VA, looking for a dependable, professional, and experienced Virginia State Safety & Emissions Inspector to join our team on a permanent, full-time basis.

🔧 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform official Virginia State Safety Inspections strictly adhering to state regulations.

Perform Emissions Inspections accurately.

Identify vehicle safety concerns and clearly document any needed repairs.

Communicate inspection findings clearly and professionally with service advisors and management.

Maintain precise, up-to-date inspection logs and state documentation.

REQUIREMENTS:

MUST HAVE: Active, valid Virginia State Safety Inspector License.

HIGHLY PREFERRED: Active Emissions Inspector License (If you have a Safety license and are willing to get Emissions, we still want to talk to you!).

EXPERIENCE: Previous experience in a busy automotive service or repair shop environment is preferred.

DRIVING: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
