Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic
Description
We’re looking for a dependable and experienced Licensed Sheet Metal Mechanic (SM2/SM1) to join our team. This role focuses on commercial HVAC and ductwork installation across a variety of job sites in Connecticut. Ideal candidates hold a valid SM license, have strong technical skills, and take pride in delivering high-quality work while maintaining safety and efficiency on the job.
Position Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and repair commercial HVAC ductwork and sheet metal systems.
- Interpret blueprints and job specs for layout and installation.
- Fabricate, modify, and fit components
- Coordinate with other trades and follow jobsite safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Valid Connecticut SM2 or SM1 license required.
- 3+ years of commercial sheet metal experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and work independently.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards.
- Physically able to lift materials and work in varied conditions.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Pay Range: $40.00/hr. - $43.00/hr
