Wanted - Skilled Carpenter and General Tradesman

Lead-level Skilled Carpenter and Tradesman with interior trim and general project skills for work with Truckee-based General Contracting firm, specializing in custom home building and renovations.

We're looking for one person to fill a full-time position (possible part-time options), working in Truckee and the greater Tahoe Region, including Carson City area, on new construction and general renovation projects, and punch-list work. Must be extremely motivated and take real initiative, demonstrating the ability to run alone on some smaller projects and punch-list items, and also work well running a small team on bigger jobs. Looking for a do-it-all!

Must be able to read complex plans/details, and have competency in all related aspects of construction. Interior and Exterior Trim skills; siding and exterior trim, window installation, running base and case, hanging doors and drywall, installing wood ceiling, beam work, cabinetry, wainscoting, exterior siding, and closet systems, duct work, gutter installations, touch up paint, handyman-level projects, etc.
This is not a hide-out, so come with skills and motivation to get'er done. This job could grow into something much bigger with the right guy.

While efficiency is preferred, quality is demanded.

Pay starting at $42+ /hour range depending upon experience and capabilities. Compensation includes matching 401-k, 5 paid sick days per year.

Must have complete tool set-up and truck/transportation and speak English.
All job sites are non-smoking, drug-free, and pet-free.
All candidates will be required to do a drug-screening.
All personnel on a job site are required to abide by OSHA safety protocol and have OSHA10 card (or be willing to get it in the first month).
