Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or as required)

Compensation: $25+ per hour, based on experience

Area of Employment: NW Miami

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable, highly skilled Warehouse Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance, repairs, and improvement projects throughout our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently and has hands-on experience across multiple trades including carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, electrical, and general facility maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Drywall repair, patching, finishing, and painting
• Repair and adjustment of doors, windows, locks, and hardware
• Cabinet installation, repair, and alignment
• Flooring repairs, baseboards, trim, and finish carpentry
• Light plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, sinks, and garbage disposals
• Light electrical work including outlets, switches, fixtures, and lighting replacement
• Installation of shelving, wall-mounted equipment, TVs, monitors, and storage systems
• Pressure washing and exterior maintenance
• Fence and gate repairs
• General warehouse maintenance and repair tasks
• Assemble and install furniture, workstations, and warehouse equipment
• Perform routine facility inspections and identify maintenance needs
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Coordinate with outside contractors when specialized work is required
• Track and maintain maintenance supplies and materials inventory

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance, construction, remodeling, or handyman experience
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve maintenance issues independently
• Experience using power tools and hand tools safely
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and work on ladders when necessary
• Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good customer service
• Own general tools
• Strong Ability to troubleshoot problems independently

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial/warehouse maintenance experience
• Forklift certification
• Welding experience
• OSHA safety training
• Experience with warehouse racking systems
• Basic computer skills for maintenance tracking and communication
• Bilingual is a plus
