Description
United Painting Services and Hornsten Construction are seeking an organized, dependable, and hands-on Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in the Charlotte area.
This position is responsible for managing inventory, receiving and distributing materials, coordinating equipment logistics, maintaining warehouse organization, and supporting field operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction, building materials, or industrial warehouse management and take pride in maintaining a clean, efficient, and accountable operation.
Responsibilities include:
- Manage daily warehouse operations
- Receive, inspect, and organize incoming materials
- Track inventory and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate deliveries to jobsites
- Manage tools, equipment, and fleet assets
- Conduct regular inventory audits
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse
- Coordinate with project managers, field supervisors, and vendors
- Assist with purchasing and material procurement as needed
- Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment
- Previous warehouse management experience preferred
- Construction industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Forklift experience preferred
