Warehouse Receiving & Furniture Installation Specialist

Interior Design Firm serving Houston and surrounding areas for over 45 years. We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented team member with experience in warehouse receiving, furniture assembly, furniture installation, and furniture delivery.

This is a hands-on position ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys variety, and understands the importance of treating clients' homes and furnishings with care.

Responsibilities:

Receive, inspect, and log incoming furniture, artwork, lighting, rugs, and accessories
Unload shipments and verify items for accuracy and condition
Assemble furniture and prepare merchandise for installation
Deliver furniture and décor to client homes
Hang artwork, mirrors, and decorative accessories accurately and securely
Assist with furniture placement and room installations
Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse
Operate warehouse equipment and assist with inventory management
Drive company delivery vehicles, including a 27-foot box truck
Assist with general warehouse upkeep and project preparation

Qualifications:

Previous experience in warehouse receiving, furniture assembly, furniture installation, or furniture delivery
Experience hanging artwork, mirrors, and wall décor preferred
Experience driving a box truck preferred
Forklift experience is a plus
Ability to lift and move heavy furniture safely
Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
Dependable, punctual, and professional
Clean driving record
Ability to work well with a team and represent the company professionally in clients' homes

Schedule:

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
