Warehouse Workers for AV Company

SHOP TECHNICIAN

Oxygen Eventworks is a special events technical production company looking for full-time and/or part-time technicians for our shop/warehouse. Our shop includes lighting, sound, video, staging equipment plus fabrication. The warehouse is located in Yonkers, NY at 500 Saw Mill River Road. So you must be able to reliably get to Yonkers on a daily basis.

Main duties include:

• accurately and timely pulling equipment for events and rentals
• intelligent packing and loading of trucks
• organizing, maintaining and testing the equipment
• entering new products and repairs into our inventory management
• organizing any repairs (in-house and external) of equipment or vehicles as necessary
• occasionally driving truck (26ft box) or van
• other miscellaneous duties

Physical Requirements:

• This position will requires, standing, sitting, and crouching potentially for long periods of time on hard surface.
• This position will require the ability to lift up to 50lbs unassisted and frequently
• This position will require frequent work at height on ladders, and personnel lifts.

Requested experience:

• working in Audio Visual Production as a technician (lighting, sound or video tech)
• familiarity with lighting, video and sound equipment
• troubleshooting and tech-ing equipment
• prior warehouse experience with other AV companies
• able to operate a forklift
• driving a van (must have a drivers license)

Experience that is not required but a PLUS:

• familiarity with inventory management systems (LASSO Inventory!)
• CDL class B is a plus
• driving a 26 ft box truck with air brakes
• any industry certifications
