WATER FEATURE / FOUNTAIN SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Full-Time | Pay Based on Experience

We are an established Central Florida fountain and water feature company looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined Service Technician to join our team.

The position involves servicing and maintaining commercial fountains and water features ranging from relatively simple systems to large, sophisticated installations with multiple pumps, filtration systems, controls and programmable color-changing lighting.

This is a hands-on position that combines mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with routine fountain cleaning and preventative maintenance.

Typical work includes:

• Troubleshooting and servicing pumps, motors and filtration equipment
• Electrical and control system troubleshooting
• Servicing submersible equipment and underwater LED lighting
• Maintaining DMX-controlled color-changing lighting systems
• Working with valves, piping and hydraulic systems
• Timers, controllers and related equipment
• Diagnosing problems and making field repairs
• Routine fountain and water feature cleaning
• Pressure washing fountain structures and surfaces, including some locations requiring weekly pressure washing
• Pool/fountain vacuuming and debris removal
• Preventative maintenance and scheduled weekly or biweekly service visits

Fountain or DMX Lighting experience is not necessarily required. We are willing to train the right person. We're looking for someone with good mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting and fixing equipment, but who is also willing to handle the cleaning and routine maintenance necessary to keep our fountains looking and operating properly.

Experience with pumps, pools, electrical systems, HVAC, irrigation, industrial maintenance, controls or similar mechanical service work is a plus.

Requirements:

• Good mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Dependable and able to work independently
• Able to perform cleaning, pressure washing and vacuuming as part of regular service work
• Comfortable working outdoors and around water
• Able to perform physical work, including lifting equipment and accessing fountain basins and equipment areas
• Professional when working at commercial properties and around customers
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Drug-Free Workplace

Our service work is primarily throughout Central Florida. This is a good opportunity for someone who enjoys a combination of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and hands-on field work, rather than doing exactly the same thing every day.
