Description
We are looking for someone with handy man or residential construction experience to join our team.
We provide 24/7 emergency services for water, fire, and mold damage. This is a hands-on role where your work makes a direct impact on our community. We are a new location of a nation wide restoration franchise. We are growing fast and you will be one of our early hires, as such for the right candidate there are opportunities to become a manager in the mitigation or reconstruction roles depending on interest and experience as we quickly scale up and build the teams.
The Job
Respond to emergency water damage calls (leaks, floods, pipe bursts).
Extract standing water and set up professional drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers).
Perform controlled demolition (removing damaged drywall, flooring, or trim).
Monitor drying progress using moisture meters and thermal imaging.
Maintain a clean and organized work van and equipment.
Assist or lead reconstruction efforts (patch and paint, trim, baseboard, door installations, flooring installations) as needed.
Requirements
Valid Driver’s License: Must have a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
Drywall repair and finishing
Interior and exterior painting
Trim, baseboard, and door installation
Flooring installation (LVP, laminate, tile is a plus)
Light framing and carpentry
Window and door repairs
General home maintenance and punch-list repairs
Demolition and job site preparation
Material handling and job site cleanup
Qualifications
Residential construction or handyman experience preferred
Reliable transportation is required
Valid driver's license preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic, dependable, and punctual
Professional attitude with attention to detail
Paid weekly

Restoration Experience: Prior experience in water mitigation or mold remediation is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces (crawlspaces, attics) when necessary.
Availability: Must be willing to participate in a rotating "on-call" schedule for after-hours emergencies.
