Mason Reconstruction is hiring experienced Waterproofers for multifamily and HOA reconstruction projects across Southern California. Most of our work is repairing balconies, decks, walkways, and stairs that have been leaking for years, including SB-326 and SB-721 elevated element repairs. You will work under a Foreman as part of a field crew, on jobs that demand clean workmanship and a real work ethic. If you take pride in your trade and show up ready, there is a path here to Lead and Foreman.

What You’ll Do:

• Prep surfaces for waterproofing: grinding, cleaning, patching, and sloping substrates
• Install waterproofing membranes and deck coating systems on balconies, decks, walkways, and stairs
• Install and detail flashing at door thresholds, drains, wall-to-deck transitions, and penetrations
• Apply sealants and caulking at joints, edges, and transitions
• Perform water testing and help identify the source of leaks
• Remove failed coatings, membranes, and sealants as part of demolition and tear-out
• Load, unload, stage, and handle materials and tools on site
• Operate hand and power tools safely and keep them in good working condition
• Follow all safety protocols, wear required PPE, and keep the work area clean and organized
• Communicate progress and any issues to the Foreman throughout the day
• Represent Mason Reconstruction professionally on occupied properties where residents are present

What You Bring:

• 2 to 4 years of hands-on waterproofing experience
• Working knowledge of membrane and deck coating systems, flashing, and sealants
• Able to follow manufacturer specs and work accurately with minimal direction
• Experience with balcony, deck, or walkway repairs on multifamily buildings is a plus
• Manufacturer training or certification on deck coating systems is a plus
• Additional skills in carpentry, concrete, or stucco are a plus
• Able to lift 50 pounds, work on ladders and scaffolding, and work outdoors in all conditions
• Reliable, on time, and ready to work every scheduled day
• Clear communicator and team player (bilingual in English and Spanish a plus)
• Reliable transportation to job sites with a valid driver’s license
• Must pass a drug screen, background check, and physical
