$38 - $42/Hour + $105/Day Per Diem | 1-Year Project | Night Shift Premium

We’re seeking skilled and experienced Journeyman Welders for a long-term project in Louisville, KY. These positions are open to both local candidates and travelers from anywhere in the continental U.S.

Must be willing to work in Louisville for approximately 1 year.

💰 Compensation & Schedule

• $38 - $42 per hour
• $105/day per diem (for candidates living 50+ miles from job site)
• + $1/hour night shift differential
• Schedule: Five 10-hour shifts per week

🔧 What You’ll Do

• Plan, lay out, weld, install, test, and repair piping systems
• Interpret blueprints, specifications, and welding codes
• Fit piping and perform precision welds independently
• Assemble piping systems according to production and safety standards
• Perform welding repairs and correct substandard welds
• Coordinate with field crews and assist with prefabrication
• Operate equipment such as grinders, air arc gougers, and stress relief tools
• Assist with rigging and material handling
• Inspect work to ensure compliance with plans and specifications

✅ Qualifications

• Previous experience as a journeyman welder or related field
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques, codes, and standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents
• Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with supervision

⚠️ Requirements

• Ability to pass RMD weld test
• Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
• Must have required tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to work at heights (ladders, scaffolds, lifts up to 200 ft)
• Comfort working in confined spaces and industrial environments
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed
