Welder Fabricator

The ideal candidate will have very strong layout, and work planning skills with experience installing highly finished, precise fabrications on large scale construction projects. Working knowledge of OSHA rules and site safety programs is essential. Skill at MIG and TIG welding steel and stainless is critical. Welding certification is valuable, but not required.

An OSHA 10 certification will be required within 30 days of employment if you do not already have it. .

This position requires the ability to plan and execute work with minimal supervision, build to the highest quality standards and manage / coach less experienced workers. This position may require out of town work from time to time.

A portfolio of professional or hobby / side work displaying artistic, decorative or precise building skills is highly valued - e.g. custom automotive fabrication or roll cages, forging decorative or functional items, sculptural fab, ceramics, woodworking etc.
