Job Description & Duties

We are looking for skilled welders/fabricators who are detail-oriented, safety-minded, and work well with others.
● Project Planning: Receive instructions, prints, and work orders for custom jobs. Plan working procedures, tools, and material requirements independently.
● Fabrication & Repair: Cut, burn, assemble, tack, and weld various metals to fabricate or repair equipment adhering to design specifications and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
● Surface Prep & Setup: Clean and prepare surfaces to be welded; set up and assemble parts precision-wise.
● Quality Assurance: Use calibrated precision measuring instruments to ensure all finished work meets exact job specifications.
● Physical Capability: Capability of lifting more than 50 lbs at times.

Qualifications & Requirements

● Thorough understanding of welding machines, metal types, and shop tools.
● Proficient blueprint and shop-drawing interpretation skills with the ability to self-manage and work independently.
● Successful completion of an internal welding test prior to hire.
● Personal hand tools are a plus (shop tools provided).
● Must provide your own welding hood (gloves and lenses provided).
● Ability to commute or relocate to Coeur d'Alene, ID 83815 before starting work.
