WELDER / FITTER / FABRICATOR

Still Waters Metal Fabrication is hiring now, experienced WELDER/FITTER/FABRICATOR.
We are a custom fabrication shop and have many different projects going all the time. We work with Stainless Steel, Mild Steel, Hard-Ox, and Aluminum, so having the “know how” skills and a positive attitude really is a must!
We are a small business located in the Spokane Valley. Our company takes pride in our work, and WE LOVE OUR CUSTOMERS!!
Pay depends on your experience.
We work 4/10's Monday – Thursday (full time), which we all love!
Paid weekly - Fridays
We ask that you have WELDING/SHOP" experience and are PROFICIENT in all aspects of your WELDING AND FABRICATION SKILLS to apply for the WELDER/FITTER/FABRICATOR position.
Qualifications:

• Experience with MIG/TIG welding required.
• WABO or AWS certified or be able to get certified (which the Company will pay).
• Knowledge on OH Crane & Forklift is a must.
• Ability to read and understand blue prints.
• ABILITY TO WORK ON YOUR OWN OR IN A TEAM.
• Proficient in shop math/problem solving skills.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 30 lbs., occasionally lift 50lbs.
• Candidates must have their own tools and transportation.
• Must have a current Drivers License.

Duties:

• Weld mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum according to blue prints.
• Inspect welded parts against blue prints.
• Must perform all duties in accordance with OSHA and WISHA.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• COMMUNICATE TO MANAGEMENT ABOUT MACHINERY AND QUAILITY ISSUES AS THEY ARISE.
• Preheat and/or cut workpieces using a hand torch (plasma) when required.
