West-Pak Equipment Corp is looking for a qualified Welder/ Mechanic in the Boise area.
Job Purpose and Description
Welder/ Mechanic will serve customers by servicing, repairing, and maintaining equipment. Duties include:
- Maintenance inspections of hydraulic and electrical systems.
- Service calls requiring troubleshooting and diagnostic ability.
- Repair and refurbishment of structural, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Service and installation of large Recycling and Waste Handling Equipment.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
- Must be capable of working in extreme weather conditions outdoors, including hot and cold environments regularly.
- Must be capable of working in confined spaces.
- Capable of lifting 50+ lbs.
- Professional Verbal Communication and Customer Service Skills.
- Demonstrated work ethic, integrity, and professional conduct.
- Must be well groomed, reliable, and possess a positive attitude.
- Driver’s License and Clean Driving Record Required.
- Experience with 110 control voltage, low voltage, and three phase power preferred but not required.
- Experience with Hydraulic Equipment Repairs (Pumps, Cylinders, etc.) preferred but not required.
- Welding and Fabrication Experience required.
- Experience with Forklift Preferred but not required.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be 18 Years-Old or Older
- $24.00+ per hour depending on experience.
- On the Job Training in All Areas.
