At MDI Rock, we are seeking a self-starting welder/fabricator to aid in fleet maintenance.

MDI Rock prides itself on its ability to be a full-service shop and being able to handle just about any repair, in-house, to its commercial fleet of class 8 trucks and supporting equipment in the quarry and aggregate supply industry. We have a full service shop including a MIG, TIG, Stick and spool gun welder as well as several other tools for fabrication.

As a welder/fabricator at MDI Rock, the scope of work includes fabricating parts, tools and welding repair on our fleet of 100 combined trucks, trailers and mobile machinery. Whether your a seasoned veteran or have just a couple years experience, you'll have the opportunity to utilize and grow your skills.

Qualifications:
-MIG/ Stick welding experience required
-Arc Gouging / Air arc experience is a plus
-TIG welding aluminum/ steel experience is a plus
-Aluminum spool gun experience is a plus
-Ability to lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds
-Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel for extended periods
-Minimum of 2 years of experience in welding/fabricating
-Knowledge of welding equipment and tools used in the trade
-Attention to detail and the ability to take direction well
-Take pride in your work
