Description
We are seeking a mechanically inclined welder/fabricator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and welding metal components using Stick and MIG welding processes. The ideal candidate has experience reading blueprints, operating fabrication equipment, and producing high-quality welds while maintaining safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform MIG and/or stick welding, fabricating parts based on project requirements.
Maintain welding equipment and ensure it is in good working condition.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
This is not just a welding position; ideally, we’re seeking a “jack of all trades type, person”, someone who’s knowledgeable in some or all the following. Basic electrical, basic mechanical, basic hydraulics, basic construction. You’ll be working around the shop doing various tasks when not welding.
In this role, you’ll work at our shop most of the time but must be able to travel out of town a few times a year for installs.
Must have dependable attendance and punctuality.
Being bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not necessary.
Our standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm.
Must be willing to travel to job sites a few times a year.
