Welders needed at Pearl Harbor Naval Station and surrounding shipyards

Structural Shipyard Welders

Work Location: In and around Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam.
Pay: $25-$32 dependent on weld test and interview.
Must be eligible to get DBIDS and TWIC, clean background going back 10 years
Proficient in welding SMAW (stick). Knowledge and experience in GTAW (TIG) and Braze. Fluxcore process is helpful but not required. Must pass NAVSEA weld test for higher rates. Will need to pass a 3-position test plate in 2g, 3g, and 4g.

Must have clean background to be eligible for DBIDS access to the Naval Base as well as TWIC access for the Coast Guard base
