Russell & Russell Construction is seeking an experienced Residential Construction Superintendent to oversee the construction of custom homes, luxury renovations, and residential additions throughout Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area.

We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, maintains organized job sites, and keeps projects on schedule while delivering an exceptional experience for our clients.

Responsibilities:

Manage residential construction projects from groundbreaking through final completion.
Coordinate and supervise all subcontractors, vendors, and deliveries.
Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved.
Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company quality standards.
Conduct daily site inspections and identify potential issues before they become problems.
Communicate effectively with homeowners, architects, engineers, inspectors, and project managers.
Schedule and attend inspections.
Verify completed work for quality and accuracy before approving subcontractor progress.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites.
Prepare daily reports, document project progress, and track field changes.
Assist with material planning and inventory management.
Resolve field issues quickly while maintaining project budgets and schedules.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of residential construction superintendent experience.
Experience managing custom homes and high-end residential renovations preferred.
Strong understanding of residential building practices and sequencing.
Ability to read blueprints and construction documents.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and construction management software.
Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
